Wilmington Reports Six Active Cases, Of 325 Total

Nearly 2,000 tests have been conducted on Wilmington residents, the town said, for a 16.9 percent positive rate.

WILMINGTON, MA — Six Wilmington residents have confirmed cases of the coronavirus, the Health Department Thursday — less than two percent of the cumulative total.

An additional two residents are in quarantine for potential exposure.

That compares to 325 total positives from Jan. 1 to June 10. At the height of the outbreak, dozens of residents had the virus. Outbreaks at long-term care facilities killed over 60 residents.

The Department reported that in total 1923 residents have been tested, for a 16.9 percent positive rate.
