Wilmington Schools Will Close Early On Wednesday

WILMINGTON, MA -- A forecast for a messy, wintry mix of wether this afternoon prompted Wilmington school officials to announce early closings in the district. Schools will follow the normal, early-dismissal schedule and students will be dismissed three hours early.

Dismissal times for each school are as follows:

• Boutwell — 10:15am
• Middle School — 10:40am
• High School — 11:05am
• Wildwood — 11:05am
• North Intermediate — 11:25am
• Woburn Street — 11:25am
• West Intermediate — Noon
• Shawsheen — Noon

The district also canceled afternoon preschool, afternoon CARES and all afternoon and evening activities.
