Wilmington Sneaks Past Tewksbury

Girls tennis team earns first win of the season against Redmen.

Wilmington High School used a victory at No. 3 singles to earn its first girls tennis win of the year on Tuesday. Thanks to Michelle Woods' 6-4, 6-2, win over Kylie Sedgwick, the Wildcats improved to 1-6 on the season.

Also victorious on the day were both Wilmington doubles teams. Alyssa Fiorentino and Courtney See won 6-4, 7-5, at No. 1 doubles while Melanie Flaherty and Delaney Gillis toppled their Redmen opponents 6-2, 6-2.
