Boys Baseball (4-6)

Catcher Dalton Rolli led the offensive attack for the Wilmington baseball team during 6-0 win. Rolli laced three hits against Rockport, while Vinny Scifo started on the mound and was sparkling as he tossed a complete game shutout and earned the win. It took Scifo just 69 pitches to polish off his seven-inning effort that ended with a weak ground out to second base.

Hamilton-Wenham - 5, Wilmington - 0 (May 2)

Michelle Woods got her first varsity singles win in match the clinched the team victory against Tewksbury. Woods' 6-4, 6-2, win over Kylie Sedgwick, the Wildcats improved to 1-6 on the season.

Alyssa Fiorentino and Courtney See also won 6-4, 7-5, at No. 1 doubles while Melanie Flaherty and Delaney Gillis beat their opponents 6-2, 6-2.

North Reading - 4, Wilmington - 1 (May 5)

The Wildcats lost to the Hornets on Thursday afternoon despite a strong performance at second doubles by team captain Alyssa Fiorentino and senior Courtney See.

Boys Tennis

The Wilmington boys tennis team is currently 4-4 after a 3-2 nail biting victory at Amesbury this past Friday. Both Adam Kline and Zach Curley lost hard fought third set tiebreakers, while Will MacKinnon rallied for a 6-3, 7-6 win at third singles. The Wildcat doubles pairings of John Malone/Reg Della Pelle and Jamie Mara/Zach Anderson both won in straight sets to secure the victory. The next match is against Billerica on May 10 at home followed by a road match on May 12 at Manchester/Essex.

North Andover - 77, Wilmington - 67 (May 4)

Girls Track (1-2)

North Andover - 93.5, Wilmington - 51.5 (May 4)

Girls Lacrosse (0-5)

North Andover - 13, Wilmington - 2 (May 2)
