Wilmington Town Phones Unable To Receive Calls
The fire, police, and school departments are unaffected. The town recommends emailing the department you want to contact.
WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington town government phone system is unable to receive calls, Town Manager Jeffrey Hull said Friday. The IT department is working on the problem. Fire, police, and schools are unaffected, and the rest of the town departments are still able to make outgoing calls.
Hull apologized for the problem and recommended email as an alternative.
"In the meantime, individuals needing to contact a Town department should go to the Town’s website (wilmingtonma.gov) where you will see a listing of departmental email addresses. You should direct your email to the address of the department you are seeking to contact. The email will be received by a representative from the department who will respond to you as soon as they are able."
