Wilmington's First Day of School: Information, Bus Routes and More

Here's what you need to know about the first day of school tomorrow!

WILMINGTON, MA — Parents, rejoice. The summer is coming to a close

Wilmington schools begin on Tuesday, Aug. 30, except for kindergarten. The return is immediately followed by another break, with no school Fri., Sept. 2 or Mon., Sept. 5 (Labor Day).

Here are the school hours, according to the Wilmington Public Schools website:

  • High School: 7:40 a.m. to 2:05 p.m.
  • Middle School: 7:20 a.m. to 1:40 p.m.
  • North Intermediate: 8:20 a.m. to 2:25 p.m.
  • West Intermediate: 8:55 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Shawsheen School: 8:55 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Woburn St. School: 8:20 a.m. to 2:25 p.m.
  • Wildwood Kindergarten: 8:50 a.m. to 2:05 p.m.
  • Wildwood Preschool: 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 11:35 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Boutwell Kindergarten: 8:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
  • Boutwell Preschool: 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 11:05 a.m. to 1:35 p.m.
