Woburn Street School Evacuated For "Small Fire," No One Hurt
The fire was contained in the boiler room and police said no students were injured or suffered any ill effects.

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington's Woburn Street Elementary School students were loaded onto school buses and sent to Wilmington High School early Tuesday afternoon, due to an issue with one of the boilers, a police dispatcher said. The issue caused light smoke. No students were injured.
"Nobody was injured, no ill effects," a police dispatcher said. "It's under control at this time."
According to a message to the school community, there was a "small fire contained in the boiler room and the building was immediately evacuated."

The fire was extinguished, but the building will not re-open today.
"Students will remain at Wilmington High School throughout the course of the afternoon; however, parents/guardians are welcome to pick up their children if they wish, after 1:00pm with an I.D. Students will also have the option to be transported home on their bus on their regular route if parents/guardians are not able to pick them up before then," the message continues. "The CARES program will be canceled today; however, any students who were scheduled to be in the CARES program this afternoon may stay at Wilmington High School until picked up by a parent/guardian."
