Cohen Memorial Scholarship Foundation welcomes three new board members: Kerry Collins, Dina Reiss, and Woburn's Ashleigh Powers (homenewshere.com) — A Woburn resident, experiential strategist Ashleigh Powers, has been appointed to the board of the Lawrence P. Cohen Memorial Scholarship Foundation, joining Kerry Collins and Dina Reiss. The Canton-based nonprofit funds scholarships and community initiatives to reduce financial barriers for students, and is expanding its reach with these new leaders. Local families can learn more or apply for aid through the foundation’s website.    

• 11 Charged After Protest Outside ICE Office in Burlington (homenewshere.com) — Eleven protesters were arrested and later released after blocking the entrance to an ICE office in Burlington, with their cases now tied to Woburn District Court through the clerk magistrate. Burlington Police describe the arrests as a response to deliberate civil disobedience after attempts to de-escalate. The protesters will receive court summons on trespassing and disturbing-the-peace charges.
