• Insists deal be structured similarly to all other union accords… Mayor Concannon open to settling new contract with police patrolmen (homenewshere.com) — Woburn Mayor Michael Concannon says he’s ready to settle the long-stalled contract with the Woburn Police Patrolman’s Association, as long as any deal matches terms given to other city unions. The patrol officers have worked without a contract since 2024, and their dispute is headed toward arbitration after state labor officials referred the case to a neutral third party. The outcome could shape city pay and benefits for multiple unions.
