Hundreds Of 'Kindness Kits' Go Out From Woburn To Children In Need: Report

The local organization, which assists children who are ill or homeless, got some much-needed help from an auto-glass installer.

WOBURN, MA — Connor’s Kindness Project is a Woburn nonprofit that creates “kindness kits” for children who are ill or homeless – but getting these packages of toys and personal-care items to the kids can be tough.

That’s where auto-glass installer Safelite recently volunteered to help, according to the Daily Times Chronicle.

The company’s Woburn team recently loaded four of its vans with the kits and helped deliver them across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. More than 530 kits went out to children in need, some as far away as Springfield.

Connor’s Kindness Project, which has offices in West Cummings Park, last year created and brought over 6,300 of the care packages to children in seven states, according to the organization’s website.
