Woburn Primary 2026: Key Races, Early Voting Info

WOBURN, MA — Two Democrats are competing for the party's nomination for the 30th Middlesex state House District in the Sept. 1 Massachusetts primary.

State Rep. Richard M. Haggerty faces Jadon Wilson in the Democratic primary. Haggerty is seeking renomination to the seat. Woburn's official specimen ballot lists no Republican candidate for the district.

The 30th Middlesex race will appear on ballots for voters in Ward 1 Precinct 2A and Wards 2 through 6. Parts of Reading are also include in the district.

Woburn voters will also see several other contested Democratic races. U.S. Sen. Ed Markey faces U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton, while U.S. Rep. Katherine Clark faces Jonathan Paz and Tarik Samman in the 5th Congressional District.

On the Republican ballot, Michael Roger Minogue and Brian Shortsleeve are competing for governor.

Early voting runs through Aug. 28 at the old Wyman School, 679 Main St. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 1.
