WOBURN, MA — Woburn will soon have a new way to get around with the launch of The Link, a free, on-demand, all-electric microtransit service operated by Circuit. At launch residents can request rides through the Ride Circuit app or by calling (781) 782-2521, making it easier to reach local destinations without relying on a personal vehicle. (Testing will begin August 24th, with soft launch planned for August 31st).
This one-year pilot program is operated by Circuit and funded through a microtransit grant from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. The Link provides on-demand, all-electric transportation across participating communities.
The Link operates within two separate service zones: Woburn-Burlington and Reading-Wakefield. Trips are available anywhere within each zone, but not between zones. Riders in either zone can also travel to Lahey Clinic in Burlington and Winchester Hospital.
