Seniors from Woburn Memorial High School attended the prom in style Thursday night at The Danversport Yacht Club in Danvers.
The night was filled with color, sparkles and chattering as 460 students filled the Harborview Ballroom. The beautiful weather allowed the crowd to spill outside to enjoy the harbor view as the sun set.

Sequins and sparkles were clearly the popular fashion statement for young ladies, and every color of the rainbow was in the house (I didn't see two outfits the same, although there was rumor of such ...) Gentleman looked handsome in suits, some with bow ties, only one with a hat (very stylish!).
Students dined buffet style on salad, roast beef, meatballs, chicken piccata and glazed ham. After dinner many hit the dance floor, dancing the night away to popular songs spun by DJ, "Wild Bill", who was expecting several requests for "Cat Daddy" by The Rej3ctz ... which has a dance routine many learned.

Woburn School Superintendent Mark Donovan attended the evening, as did Pat Chisholm - Chair of the School Committee. Fifteen chaperones also kept an eye on the proceedings. Lieutenant Germano and Officer Frost of the Danvers Police Department were on hand to help out if needed - but they did not anticipate being needed.
