1 Dead After 2 Worcester Real Estate Agents Struck By Train
A Worcester real estate agent was struck and killed by a train in Connecticut.

WORCESTER, MA—One woman was killed and another seriously injured after a freight train struck two real estate agents from Worcester on Wednesday in Connecticut, according to reports.
Connecticut Troopers responded at 1:26 a.m. on Sept. 13 to the area of Buckley Hill Road and River Street in Thompson, CT, for a report of a pedestrian struck by a train.
Upon arrival, troopers located Brittany Lafleche, 28, of Thompson, and Morgan Nordby, 26, of Thompson, both of whom had been struck by a train, State Police said. Lafleche was conscious and alert but suffering from life-threatening injuries. Lafleche was transported to UMASS Hospital for further evaluation. Nordby was located down an embankment, and pronounced deceased, State Police said.
The two worked for 1 Worcester Homes and were best friends, reports the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.
Troopers from Troop D–Danielson, CT, are investigating the fatal train versus pedestrian crash.
