1 Dead In Worcester Double-Shooting

A man shot his girlfriend and then himself early Monday morning, according to Worcester police.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police responded to a double-shooting in the Indian Lake area early Tuesday morning that appears to have been an attempted murder-suicide.

According to police, officers went to a home along Huntington Avenue just before 1 a.m. on a report of a shooting. They found a 25-year-old man there dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The man's 27-year-old girlfriend was also shot, and she was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, according to police.

Worcester police also reported to a double-shooting along Stoneland Road late Sunday night, according to Boston 25.
