2 Arrested for Home Invasion After Argument Between Exes: Worcester Police
Both are facing charges of home invasion, breaking and entering and vandalism.

WORCESTER, MA—Two 19-year-olds are facing charges after police say they came to an apartment, fueled by a fight on the phone that occurred between the suspect and one of the victims.
On Thursday, Nov. 17, at approximately 8:22 p.m., Worcester police headed to a Glenwood Street address a recent home invasion. Two men had fled the scene in a dark colored sedan toward Hammond Street, said police.
When police got there, they found fresh blood on the staircase that led to the second floor of the apartment, and a door that was hanging from its frame with cracks in it. Several victims were inside the apartment.
Police said that a 19-year-old woman, who lives in the apartment, got into an argument over the phone with her ex-boyfriend, who is the same age, earlier that evening. Shortly after that argument, her ex-boyfriend came to the apartment and started to bang on the door. Residents refused to open it, so he kicked in and forced his way into the apartment, according to police. The 19-year-old ex-boyfriend was with a second man identified as Sebastian Barjolo, 20, of Worcester.
Police said the ex-boyfriend brandished a firearm and waved it around during the confrontation, and after they forced their way into the apartment, a resident who lives in the apartment tried to intervene. The suspect and Barjolo assaulted the male victim, and punched him repeatedly in the face. Another person who lives in the apartment tried to help, when both suspects ran from the apartment and left in a dark colored sedan.
Police were familiar with both suspects, and after a short amount of time, members of the Gang Unit located the suspect vehicle parked at 56 Vale St. Gang Unit officers were allowed into the 56 Vale Street by a resident, and once inside they located both Barjolo and the 19 year old male suspect.
Both were placed under arrest and are being charged with Home Invasion, Vandalism, and Breaking and Entering in the Nighttime with Intent to Commit a Felony.
Massachusetts State Law prohibits us from revealing the name of the 19 year old male suspect due to the domestic relationship between the suspect and the female victim.
None of the residents of the apartment were seriously injured during the assault.
