WORCESTER, MA — A man and a woman have been arrested following a shooting death that happened Monday morning in the Main South neighborhood.

Worcester police arrested Amber Gravel, 27, and Jacob Grice, 35, both of Worcester after a 31-year-old man was shot and killed at around 5:30 a.m. Monday along King Street.

Police have charged Grice with assault and battery with a gun, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon resulting in serious injury, and multiple gun charges, including illegally carrying a firearm. Gravel was charged with being an accessory to murder after the fact, police said.

The Monday killing was the third shooting death in Worcester since July 3 — and one of more than a dozen shootings that have taken place across the city over the last month.
