2 Charged With Murder of Teen Last Spring: Worcester Police
Two are facing murder charges in connection with the shooting death of Samuel Castro.

WORCESTER, MA — Two young men are facing murder charges in connection with a shooting death that happened last May in Worcester.
On Friday, March 25, Worcester police arrested 19-year-old Emil Encarnacion and 19-year-old Connor Ferguson in connection with the shooting death of 18-year-old Samuel Castro in May of 2015.
Emil Encarnacion, 19, of 16 Oread Place, Apt. 3, Worcester, and Connor Ferguson of 8 Saliminen Drive, Leicester, were both charged with murder.
Police responded around 10:20 p.m. on May 12 last year to Frederick Street where a person reported that someone was assaulted. Police found Castro suffering from a single gunshot wound, and unresponsive and died at the hospital from the injuries.
