2 Hospitalized After Shooting Outside Worcester Barbershop
The victims and friends were reportedly uncooperative with police after a shooting on Hamilton Street on Friday. Police are investigating.

WORCESTER, MA — Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Friday afternoon outside a Worcester barbershop.
Around 3:09 p.m, Worcester police responded to the area 105 Hamilton St. - Who's Next Barbershop - after receiving multiple calls about gunshots fired.
Police found a 27-year-old man on the ground suffering from serious gunshot wounds, and he was treated at the scene and transported to a nearby hospital.
An officer spotted a black vehicle speeding away from the scene and followed it to a city hospital. A second shooting victim, a 24-year-old man with a single gunshot wound to his lower extremity, was in the vehicle. Three others were in the car.
The 27-year-old victim was immediately taken into emergency surgery; he is listed in critical but stable condition. He is expected to survive from his injuries at this time, said police. WPD detectives attempted to speak with the 24-year-old victim but he refused to cooperate. He is in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
The three friends in the vehicle also refused to cooperate.
Investigators are working on a motive and the circumstances leading up to the shooting, as well as working on identifying the shooter or shooters.
