2 Injured In Worcester House Fire
The fire broke out Sunday afternoon leaving a firefighter and a resident with minor injuries.

WORCESTER, MA — Two people, including a Worcester firefighter, were injured Sunday in a fire in a home in the southeast section of the city.
Firefighters responded to 5 Sandra Drive off Massasoit Road around 4 p.m. Sunday on a report of a heavy fire. The fire grew to two alarms before firefighters got it under control.
A resident of the home and a Worcester firefighter were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the fire was still under investigation on Sunday evening.
