2 People Treated At Worcester Hospital After Shooting

Worcester police released few details about the Tuesday evening shooting incident.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police are investigating a Tuesday shooting that left two people wounded.

Near 7 p.m. Tuesday, Worcester police went to a local hospital on a report that two people had arrived there with gunshot wounds.

At the hospital, which police did not name in a news release, police found a 21-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman with gunshot injuries. Police said the injuries were not life-threatening.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting were still under investigation Wednesday morning. Police did not immediately say where the shooting happened.
