2 Providence Men Charged With Heroin Trafficking In Worcester
One of the men rammed a police officer's cruiser during a brief pursuit, according to Worcester police.

WORCESTER, MA — Two Providence men were arrested in Worcester last week and charged with trafficking heroin. Police seized over 400 grams of the drug, they said, and one of the men rammed a police cruiser during a brief pursuit.
The first arrest happened last Thursday when police say they saw Jose Nunez-Feliz, 25, of Barfield in Providence, sell drugs along Fifth Avenue in the Vernon Hill area. When an officer tried to stop Feliz, he reversed his car into the officer's cruiser, police said. Feliz tried to drive off, but crashed into a home along Maxwell Street and was arrested.
Police said they found over 50 bags of heroin on Feliz and in his car. He's been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, trafficking in heroin over 200 grams, and several other charges.
Esmelin Fajardo, 33, of Steuben Street in Providence, was arrested on Union Hill. Police said they found about 340 grams of heroin stashed behind a home along Jefferson Street connected to Farjado. He was charged with trafficking in heroin over 200 grams, according to police.
