2 Teens Arrested After Afternoon House Burglary in Worcester
A neighbor followed the two suspects in his car, while police were in pursuit.

WORCESTER, MA—The victims got their belongings back, but two teens are now facing breaking and entering charges after an incident on Friday afternoon in Worceter.
On Friday, Sept. 23, around 3:30 p.m., Worcester police responded to a Pocasset Street home for a report of a break in progress. Neighbors told police they saw two people going into the bulkhead, and neighbors gave police a description. Officers looked at the home and noted that a good portion of it had been ransacked, and headed toward St. Nicholas Ave. toward where they were told the suspects headed.
Dispatch told officers that a neighbor was following the suspects in their vehicle. The suspects were seen headed into the woods behind St. Nicholas Ave. Elementary School.
Officers quickly responded to the school and went behind the building where the two suspects were seen running through the rear parking lot. The two were told to stop and they complied. A search of the two produced several items and cash that belonged to the victims.
Jose Lugo, 18, Chino Avenue, and Linda Mojica, 19, Tacoma Street, were each placed under arrest and charged with Breaking and Entering in the Daytime with the Intent to Commit a Felony and Larceny in a Building
Lugo and Mojica will be arraigned on Monday, Sept. 26, at the Worcester County District Courthouse.
All recovered items will be processed and documented as evidence and then returned to the victims.
