2 Women Slashed With Broken Glass In Worcester: PD

Police arrested and charged a 26-year-old Webster woman after the attack.

WORCESTER, MA — Two women were seriously injured Wednesday night when another woman slashed them with a piece of broken glass, according to Worcester police.

The incident happened just after 10 p.m. along Cambridge Street. Worcester officers found the two victims inside a home there, and they were taken to a local hospital.

Police said Beronica Castillo, 26, of Webster, showed up at the home and attacked the two women. Castillo returned to the home while police were still there and was arrested and charged with mayhem and two counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon, police said.
