2 Worcester Residents Charged After Webster Boat Ramp Fight
Two Worcester residents and a Southbridge woman face charges following a fight at a Webster boat ramp, police said.
WORCESTER, MA — Two Worcester residents are facing charges after a fight at a Webster boat ramp during which a man was accused of grabbing a police officer, authorities said.
Michelle Kitowska, 31, was charged with disorderly conduct, while Alberto Cordero, 50, was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with a police officer. Both are from Worcester.
A third person, Deymi Reyes, 41, of Southbridge, was also arrested on a disorderly conduct charge, according to Webster police.
Officers responded to the Lakeside boat ramp at about 8:24 p.m. on Aug. 30 after a caller reported that vehicles towing jet skis were traveling at high speeds and nearly struck the caller.
Officer Nicholas Trinque found a large group loading jet skis onto a trailer before another person reported a fight near several parked vehicles, police said. Trinque requested backup and began dispersing the crowd.
Two women and a man then began arguing and had to be held apart, according to police. The women allegedly started fighting and fell to the ground as Trinque attempted to separate them.
Police said the man grabbed Trinque and tried to pull him away from the women. Additional officers arrived and arrested Reyes and Kitowska.
Police later identified the man as Cordero after an investigation. Police said Cordero has 113 prior charges on his Massachusetts record. Prior charges do not necessarily indicate convictions.
