2 Worcester Schools Qualify for Robotics World Competition
Two WPS schools have qualified for the 2016 VEX Robotics World Competition in Louisville, Kentucky.

WORCESTER, MA — Tatnuck Magnet School and Burncoat Middle School have qualified for the 2016 VEX Robotics World Competition in Louisville, Kentucky, after competing at the Southern New England Regional Tournament Championships at QCC and North High School.
The Tatnuck Magnet School and Burncoat Middle School teams are the only elementary and middle school in Worcester to get an invite to the World Championships, said an announcement.
"All the students work hard to design, build, program, and attend after school meetings and several competitions to prepare for this event. In order for both schools to attend they need to raise $4375.00 each to help pay for travel expenses, registration fee, and hotel," said WPS spokesperson Jen Roy. "We are looking for sponsors and would be grateful for any assistance in getting our kids to this event."
