3-Alarm Fire In Worcester Damages Apartment Building

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester firefighters made quick work of a fire that broke out in a Columbus Park apartment building Tuesday morning, putting out flames within about 15 minutes, according to reports.

The fire broke out around 10 a.m. in a building at 154 Lovell St. Firefighters arrived to find flames burning inside the walls, according to NBC Boston. The fire grew to three alarms at one point.

There were no injuries reported during after the fire, according to NBC, but Worcester firefighters did rescue a cat from the building.
