3 Arrested After Worcester Mass Shooting Near Webster Square

The shooting happened early Saturday morning at a warehouse at 88 Webster St. with six people injured.

WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man and two men from Fall River have been arrested in connection to a Saturday mass shooting at a Webster Square warehouse that left six people injured.

The shooting happened around 3 a.m. Saturday at 88 Webster St. during an after-hours party. Police eventually found six gunshot victims in different parts of the building. Police did not report any deaths connected to the shooting, but the victims were treated at local hospitals.

On Wednesday, Worcester police arrested Patriky Sampaio Gomes, 21, of Worcester; Junio Alves-Silva, 21, of Fall River; and Luis Fernando Alves-Silva, 18, of Fall River, on warrants. The 18-year-old was arrested in Danbury, Conn., and the other two suspects were arrested in Worcester.

The 88 Webster St. warehouse is home to several small businesses, and a space used for band rehearsals.

The Gun Violence Archive, a nonprofit research organization, defines any shooting of four or more people, excluding the shooter, as a "mass shooting."
