3 Out-Of-State Men Charged After Main South Armed Burglary

Police said the three men, from New York and Pennsylvania, broke into a Gates Street apartment early Sunday morning.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police early Sunday morning arrested and charged three men from New York and Pennsylvania following an armed robbery at a Main South apartment, police said.

Worcester officers went to the Gates Street home just before 1 a.m. Sunday on a report that several armed men had kicked in an apartment door. Police later spotted three men along Illinois Street near University Park.

When police approached the men, they ran into the park, police said. Police eventually arrested the men. Two are from the Bronx, one is from rural Bushkill, Penn. All three were charged with possession of a gun during the commission of a felony, trespassing, breaking and entering at night with intent to commit a felony, resisting arrest and various gun charges.
