3 Robbed With Gun and Baseball Bat on West Mountain Street
Breaking: Two men armed with a gun and bat robbed three on West Mountain Street Friday night.

WORCESTER, MA—Police are searching for three men who allegedly robbed two men and woman with a baseball bat and gun, taking money and a cell phone.
On Friday, Sept. 2, around 10:45 p.m., Worcester police responded to a West Mountain Street address for a report of an armed robbery. The victims-two men 22 and 23, and a 23-year-old female-told police they were just about ready to get into their car when two men approached them. One had a baseball bat, and the other had a handgun, they told police. A victim was struck in the back of the head with the bat, and the other suspect told the female to get out of the car and forced her to the ground with the gun pointed at her head. The suspects demanded money from the three, took a wallet and an iPhone, and then fled.
Worcester EMS arrived at the scene. The 23-year-old male victim was treated at the scene for a large laceration that he received to the back of his head and then transported to a nearby hospital, said police.

Investigators were told that both suspects were black males in their 20s and that both had their faces covered.Several police officers responded to the scene and conducted a search of the area for the suspects. A WPD K-9 unit arrived and assisted in the search. The search produced negative results.
