STURBRIDGE, MA — If you're transporting an enormous amount of illegal drugs, it's probably best to obey local speed limits.

A man from Queens, N.Y., learned that lesson recently when state police stopped him in Sturbridge for driving 50 in a 30 MPH zone along an I-84 off-ramp. After police pulled over Alexander Kong, 40, they asked to search his minivan — and Kong agreed.

During the search, police said they found 362 one-pound, heat-sealed bags of marijuana in the van. Kong was arrested and held on $15,000 bail on a drug trafficking charge — and he also got a speeding ticket.

And in case you're wondering why someone would try to sell marijuana in a state where it's legal: the price of marijuana on the street is still much lower than retail cannabis shops due to a lack of supply.
