7 Worcester Officers Promoted To Sergeant
Several officers are being promoted to sergeant.
WORCESTER, MA—Seven officers with the Worcester Police Department are being promoted to rank of sergeant.
The Worcester Police Department holds a promotion ceremony at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, at City Hall in the Levi Lincoln Chamber. City Manager Edward M. Augustus Jr., Mayor Joseph M. Petty, Councilor Kate Toomey, Chair of Public Safety and Chief Steven M. Sargent will preside over the ceremony. During the ceremony, the officers will take their oaths before family members and colleagues.
