9 People Displaced After Worcester House Fire
The fire broke out Tuesday afternoon in the Vernon Hill area, according to firefighters.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester firefighters fought a two-alarm fire at an apartment building in the Vernon Hill neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon.
About nine people were left homeless after the fire at 57 Perry Ave., but no one was injured, the fire department reported. The fire damaged the second and third floors of the building, and the attic.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
