State Police Pursue Possibly-Armed Carjacking Suspects from CT to MA

Breaking: a vehicle pursuit in Worcester has led to two in custody.

WORCESTER, MA—Update, 10:55 p.m. Massachusetts State Police stopped a vehicle on Papagin Terrace that was involved in a carjacking in Connecticut. There are two in custody, reports Mass. State Police. The vehicle was originally located on Route 395 in Connecticut, with Connecticut State Police issuing an alert for armed carjacking suspects. Massachusetts State Police pursued the vehicle into Worcester.

State Police said that near the end of the pursuit the suspect intentionally drove at a MSP cruiser and made "minor contact." There were no injuries. Worcester police assisted.

Original post: 10:45 a.m.: Worcester police are pursuing a driver who is possibly armed, according to multiple scanner alerts.

The pursuit is occurring in the area of Providence Street in Worcester.
