WORCESTER, MA — Job seekers across Central Massachusetts will have a major opportunity to connect with employers next week as MassHire Central hosts one of the region’s largest hiring events.
The MassHire Central Job Fair is set for Monday, May 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the DCU Center, 50 Foster St. Organizers say up to 100 employers from a wide range of industries are expected to attend, offering opportunities in healthcare, education, manufacturing, public service, finance and more.
Organizers said it is the "biggest job fair in Central Massachusetts."
Among the featured employers are major regional institutions and national organizations, including UMass Chan Medical School, TJX, IPG Photonics, Worcester Public Schools, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and the City of Worcester, along with public safety agencies such as the Worcester Police Department, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy and Department of Corrections.
Healthcare and human services organizations will also be well represented, with employers like Seven Hills Foundation, Behavioral Health Network, Riverside Community Care, Advocates Inc. and Catholic Charities expected to attend.
The event includes a strong presence from staffing agencies and workforce development groups such as Adecco Staffing, Randstad USA, Micro Tech Staffing Group, and Masis Staffing Solutions, as well as financial institutions including bankHometown, Beacon Bank, MutualOne Bank and Webster Five.
Other participating employers span industries from construction and energy to retail and food service, including Cranshaw Construction, Endless Energy, Big Y, Snapchef and Food Authority.
