WORCESTER, MA — A large lottery prize was sold at a store in the city this week.
On Monday, May 4, a $100,000 prize was sold at a Citgo Mart location in Worcester. The prize was won from the Massachusetts State Lottery's Diamond Deluxe scratch-off game.
To win, a player must match any of their numbers to any of the winning numbers. The odds of winning a prize of $100,000 from the game are one in 84,000, according to MassLottery.
Another lucky individual also won a prize in Worcester County on Monday. A $100,000 prize was sold at the South End National Club in Fitchburg. The prize was won from the Massachusetts State Lottery's Mass Cash game.
The state lottery commission did not share who won the prize, but the retailer that sells a winning ticket typically receives a bonus from the Lottery.
The Massachusetts State Lottery shares a daily list of winning tickets. You can find it here.
