New Indian Fast-Food Spot Debuts In Worcester

The eatery is opening inside Worcester Public Market.

WORCESTER, MA — A new Indian restaurant is opening at Worcester Public Market as Indian Bites celebrates its grand opening on Friday at noon.

Indian Bites is the second location of Desi Bar & Grill, according to a post on the business's social media. The eatery is opening inside Worcester Public Market at 160 Green St., with its door located on Harding Street, according to the restaurant's website.

Worcester Public Market also lists Indian Bites among its vendors.

The restaurant said it will serve Indian fast food and a menu built around traditional recipes.

“We’re serving up a bold and diverse menu packed with traditional family recipes made with passion and quality ingredients,” the restaurant stated. “Whether you're craving classic favorites, vegetarian specialties, or freshly made naan and daily prepared samosas, we have something to satisfy every craving.”

Indian Bites lists its hours as 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

Indian Bites is joining more than 24 other vendors in Worcester Public Market, including All in Poke, Burger Bah, BubbleBee Cafe, and Lobstah on a Roll, among others.

Desi Bar & Grill's first Worcester location is at 393 Chandler St.
