Teen Struck By Pickup Truck In Worcester's Kelley Square

WORCESTER, MA — A roadway near Kelley Square has reopened after a crash involving a teen pedestrian and a pickup truck on Thursday afternoon.

The Worcester Police Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating the crash that occurred in the area of Vernon Street and Kelley Square. The teenager was in the crosswalk at the time of the crash, and the driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene, according to police.

Worcester police said the teen is facing stable, non- life threatening injuries as of Friday morning.

Police had earlier urged motorists to avoid the area while the crash was under investigation. No charges have been made at this time, but the investigation continues.
