Mosquito control crews are scheduled to be in Milford on four dates in July to respond to resident concerns.

MILFORD, MA — Mosquito control crews are scheduled to be in Milford on four dates in July to respond to resident concerns.

The Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project said personnel may be in town July 6, 13, 20 and 27, with service requests potentially leading to mosquito insecticide applications in defined areas of Milford.

The dates are tentative and may change because of weather, mosquito populations, virus activity or special events, according to the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project. Spraying will stop when evening temperatures become too cool.

Residents may request service by calling the CMMCP office at 508-393-3055 between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday or by submitting a request at cmmcp.org.

The project posts detailed spray schedule information after 3:30 p.m. each day on its phone system and website. Residents can also find information about excluding private property from spraying through the "No Spray Info" section on the CMMCP website, according to the notice.
