Teen Struck By Train Near Polar Park In Worcester: Police

A 15-year-old boy is facing non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a train.

WORCESTER, MA — A 15-year-old boy was struck by a train near Polar Park on Sunday, according to Worcester police.

Police said the non-verbal teen was hit at about 11:40 a.m. on the CSX tracks near the ballpark. Around the same time the crash was reported, the boy’s family had reported him missing, according to police.

The teen was taken to a local hospital. His injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening, police said.
