WORCESTER, MA — Worcester’s National Night Out celebration will return next month with a free evening event for families, first responders and local organizations.
The event will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Aug. 4 at Fuller Family YMCA Park, 104 Murray Ave. It will feature bounce houses, face painting, horse rides, a petting zoo, touch-a-truck, food trucks and more, Worcester police said.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. The event is held across the U.S on the first Tuesday in August, except in Texas and some other areas that celebrate in October.
Parking will be available at 12 Hammond St., with a shuttle provided. Additional parking will be available at Chandler Elementary School.
