Worcester Swim School To Reopen With New Pool

WORCESTER, MA — A local swim school is set to reopen next month after undergoing a major transformation.

British Swim School of Worcester will reopen its Paxton location Sept. 1 at the Soccer Asylum Sport Performance Center, 603 Pleasant St. The school recently shared a first look at its newly completed pool deck and said work on a new pool is the next phase of the project.

The business first announced earlier this month that the Paxton location would close.

The indoor facility offers year-round swim lessons and water survival training for children and adults. The pool is kept at 87 degrees and has a consistent depth of four feet.

Programs include group, adult and adaptive lessons. Classes are generally 30 minutes long and held in small groups, according to the school.

The Paxton facility is one of three British Swim School of Worcester locations. The business also operates programs at the Hart Center Pool at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester and Teamworks in Northborough.
