WORCESTER, MA — A 22-year-old is facing charges this week in connection with a fatal stabbing that happened in Boston last month.
Lordly Churcher was arrested Wednesday morning at the Worcester Police Department on a manslaughter warrant related to the Aug. 17 death, according to the Boston Police Department. Churcher, who NBC10 Boston reported is from Worcester, was expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
Boston officers responded to the area of Wilbert Road and Harvard Street at about 3:20 a.m. following a report of a person stabbed. Officers found an adult man suffering from multiple stab wounds, Patch previously reported.
The man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities have not publicly identified the victim or released details about what led to the stabbing.
