WORCESTER, MA — A university in Worcester has earned national and statewide recognition in two sets of 2027 college rankings.
Clark University is featured in The Princeton Review's "The Best 392 Colleges: 2027 Edition" and ranks as the seventh-best small college in Massachusetts on Niche. Niche also places Clark in the top 30 percent of colleges nationwide.
About 14 percent of the roughly 2,800 four-year colleges in the U.S. are profiled in The Princeton Review's flagship guide. The company selects schools using institutional data, campus visits, student feedback and evaluations of academic offerings, according to its ranking methodology.
Clark was also named a Best Value School and one of the Best in the Northeast. The university ranked No. 7 nationally and No. 3 in the Northeast for undergraduate game design. It also placed No. 16 among private schools on the organization's list of the Best Schools for Making an Impact.
Niche ranked Clark in the top 8 percent of 935 schools on its Best Small Colleges in America list and in the top 13 percent of private universities nationwide. Clark also ranked No. 90 among 1,482 colleges evaluated for the Best Professors in America.
"Rankings are meaningful, but the most powerful measure of a university is what its students say about the education and community they experience," Lukman Arsalan, Clark's vice president of university enrollment, said in a statement.
Students quoted by both ranking platforms highlighted the university's academics, faculty accessibility and campus community.
