WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester marketing agency is marking a decade of helping local organizations expand their reach.
GEM Marketing Solutions celebrated its 10th anniversary with a ribbon-cutting after opening in 2016 with a mission to provide affordable marketing services to small businesses. The Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce announced the milestone Monday, recognizing the agency's growth and community connections.
GEM, which is located at 100 Front St. Ste 400, now works exclusively with nonprofits, providing website design, social media management and content creation.
CEO Jennifer Hernandez founded the company after leaving a marketing position at a local university, where she had worked for 10 years. Hernandez has more than 15 years of digital marketing experience.
The agency also partners with the Worcester Community Action Council, Worcester Public Schools' Innovation Career Pathways program and West Boylston High School to provide internships and employment opportunities for students. GEM has hosted college interns from Clark University as well, according to the company.
GEM received the Chamber's Small Business of the Year award in 2023 and is a member of the Worcester Regional Chamber and Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce.
"We were excited to celebrate GEM Marketing's 10th Anniversary and recognize a decade of business, growth, and connection in our community," the chamber wrote in its announcement. "Congratulations to the entire GEM Marketing team on this incredible milestone! Here's to 10 years of hard work and many more years of success ahead."
