Shrewsbury armed home invasion leads to 2 arrests in Worcester (masslive.com) — Shrewsbury police say two suspects in an armed home invasion were tracked down and arrested at a Worcester home by the Worcester Police Gang Unit, and investigators believe the targeted incident does not pose an ongoing threat to the wider community.
4. Girl Scouts host 12th annual Geek is Glam STEM expo (wwlp.com) — Hundreds of middle school girls gathered at Worcester Polytechnic Institute for the Geek Is Glam expo, exploring hands-on STEM workshops, robotics, coding, and career panels designed to keep local girls engaged in science and technology during crucial school years.
5. Resilient third period lifts BU to comeback win against Holy Cross (dailyfreepress.com) — Playing at Holy Cross's Hart Center in Worcester, Boston University's women's hockey team rallied in the third period for a 2-1 win, powered by Lo Lachapelle's equalizer and a late power-play goal from captain Neely Nicholson.
