WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester tattoo studio is preparing to open a new location in the city's Canal District this month.
4MileZ Tattoo Studio will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new location at 129 Water St., Suite 2.
The event will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 29, and Worcester Mayor Joseph M. Petty is scheduled to attend. The celebration will feature $50 tattoos, discounts on future bookings for attendees, live painting, food and vendors.
"We're bringing together art, community, and some incredible tattoo deals for a day you won't want to miss," the tattoo studio wrote when announcing the event. "Come meet the artists, check out the studio, and celebrate with us."
4MileZ has offered professional tattooing in Worcester since 2022, according to the studio's website. The business previously operated at 261 Millbury St.
The studio was founded by Jacob Rosa, who specializes in black-and-gray and color realism. Its other artists include Ben Willis and Mali Mcdade, according to the studio's artist profiles.
Regular hours at the Water Street studio will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The business will be closed Sundays.
