Armed Robber Makes Off With Cash From Walgreen's, Police Looking For Suspect
Police are looking for a suspect who robbed Walgreen's with a gun.

WORCESTER, MA—Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed the Walgreen's on Grafton Street with a gun on Wednesday evening.
On May 24 around 9:40 p.m. Worcester police were called to the Walgreen's at 220 Grafton St.
One of the clerks told police that a man came into the store, headed for the counter, and ordered that clerk not to close the register. The clerk did close the drawer, and the man showed a handgun on his waistband, ordering the clerk to open it back up. The suspect took off with some cash and ran.
The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 6’-0” tall, mid 20s and wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.
Several police units responded to the area and began to search the neighborhood. WPD detectives arrived along with members of the Crime Scene Unit.
There were no injuries reported.
