ArtsWorcester Welcomes Teens to View Gallery

ArtsWorcester​ presents the return of Teen Night on Wednesday, September 21 at the art gallery.

(Worcester, MA) - ArtsWorcester presents the return of Teen Night on Wednesday, September 21, 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Teens are invited to explore the art gallery, view the Material Needs exhibition, and hear from Keenan Cassidy, a Worcester Public School alum and recent Rhode Island School of Design graduate.

The Material Needs exhibition will be on view featuring seven local Worcester-area artists working in a variety of mediums, including large-format photography, recycled sculptures, printmaking, and plein air painting. Sculptor Keenan Cassidy an alumnus of Doherty Memorial High School and Rhode Island School of Design, speaks at 6:00 PM.

In addition to exploring ArtsWorcester’s exhibition, students are encouraged to participate and share their artwork using social media #AWTeenNight. During the event there will be a digital display of teen artworks.

As with all ArtsWorcester exhibitions, all of this is free. Free parking is available in the paved Freemason lots off of Ionic Avenue and Beacon Street, one block away from ArtsWorcester.
