Beechwood Hotel Gets Impressive 5 Diamond Award

WORCESTER, MA — In a list dominated by Boston locations, Worcester's Beechwood Hotel received a notable nod earlier this week.

The best of the best of AAA Five and Four Diamond properties in Massachusetts were honored March 13 at a luncheon at the Ritz-Carlton in Boston. AAA Northeast presented awards to 66 area properties. Included were six hotels and restaurants receiving AAA’s highest honor, the Five Diamond Award. The Beechwood Hotel is the only establishment on the list from Worcester County to get the award.

Each year, AAA inspectors visit more than 59,000 establishments throughout North America. Of that number, only 0.3 percent receive Five Diamonds, while less than four percent receive the Four Diamond Award, said the announcement.
